This is a solid list, but the author’s final comments suggest to me that he/she either doesn’t have children or has no idea what’s going on in the world of kids’ comic publishing. With the notable exception of Comics Worth Reading, which reviews kids’ comics on a regular basis, these sites are focused on material for older teens and adults. Moreover, the content on many of these sites isn’t appropriate for kids, and probably wouldn’t be of much interest to them. Good Comics for Kids (http://blog.schoollibraryjournal.com/goodcomicsforkids/) and The Graphic Classroom (http://graphicclassroom.blogspot.com/) actually *do* focus on comics for readers under 13. It’s a shame the author didn’t include them in this article, as they’re more useful to parents who want more information about the comics their kids are reading.
